Sharon Levy - swim exit Sharon Levy - transition

Greg Reznich brings not only years of experience and many competitive and coaching successes, but his own continued pursuit of excellence at the highest level. Greg’s swimming career includes winning three state championship titles (and runner up in the 4th year) with both his club and high school teams, as well as winning four varsity letters at the nationally acclaimed Hope College, Holland, MI. While the awards won in the pool are significant, Greg’s decades of training and competition have taught him a level of discipline, fortitude, and dedication that cannot be matched.

As a collegiate swimmer and student Greg succeeded both in and out of the pool, but his swimming career left him unsatisfied. With his insatiable drive as a formidable opponent and training partner, he has committed his professional life to triathlon in pursuit of the dreams this new discipline fuels. Triathlon provides new challenges, new energy, and new motivation. Up to the summer of 2009 Greg had been successful as an elite amateur triathlete with wins to his name and national recognition. He was a 2008 and 2009 USA Triathlon All-American and competed in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in 2009. After placing second overall in The Triathlon at Pacific Grove, in Monterey California, Greg qualified for his professional license and completed his rookie year as a professional triathlete in 2010. As a professional he is now racing at the top level of the sport frequently toeing the line with current and former World Champions. The professional racing experience teaches new lessons every day and gives another perspective to his coaching theories as he continues his own pursuit of excellence.

Along with Greg’s athletic accomplishment is coaching experience that will assist his athletes in reaching their ultimate potential. Greg’s credentials include a Bachelors of Arts degree in Exercise Science and Psychology from Hope College, USA Triathlon Coaching Certification, and years of experience as a swim coach--including for Hope College. Always eager to learn, he is currently enrolled at Temple University in pursuit of a Masters Degree in Sport Psychology. Greg has coached multiple Collegiate All-American’s in the pool; triathletes ranging from 1st timers, to Ironman finishers, to current professionals; cyclists and duathletes at the national level; and a number of other endurance multisport enthusiasts. More than any other qualification that Greg can put on a resume is his pursuit of excellence and dedication to help you reach your goals.
